The image depicts the Eritrean flag on a flagpole, a human figure with its fist thrust in the air, and a map of Northern Africa which highlights Eritrea and Ethiopia.

E.P.L.F. was the Eritrean People's Liberation Front, which emerged in 1970 in the struggle for liberation from Ethiopia during the Eritrean Civl Wars. It dissolved in 1994. [LMC]
