Along the left and right edge and over images has small purple text with a listing of names. The right edge reads, "Special Thanks: Alternative Museum, Paul Rutkowsky Poster by Jos Sances, Martha Wilson Franklin Furnace, Jack Sinclair and the Mattress Group."





Poster has a black background with a light blue snake cut in segements at the top. Below the snake in red is "Join or Die." The bottom has a military person in a gas mask. The goggles of the mask have, "The People United will never be Defeated." United is crossed out and has "With money" written above. Around the military figure are outlines of scissors. In the center the poster reads, "A Political Art Show/ July 16-August 7 1988/ 489 Peachtree Street, Atlanta Georgie/ during the Democratic National Convention."
