The poster has a drawing of six human figures. From left to right: an older man with one hand on his hip, a young woman pointing at something to her right, a middle aged man also pointing off to the right, a child with his clenched fist in the air, and a woman holding an infant while looking off to her right. All of the figures have agitated expressions. The bottom edge of the poster has the text: "The People United Will Never Be Defeated. / El Pueblo Unido Jamas Sera Vencido." This phrase originated during the popular resistance to the Chilean Pinochet dictatorship in 1973. It has become a international expression of solidarity againt oppression. [LMC]
