Lower right corner has : "T. Ungerer".

Upper right corner of poster has a white background with green text: "Kiss For Peace". The rest of the poster has a black background and a stylized drawing. On the left side a figure with the head of the Statue of Liberty is on hands and knees with an American Flag draped over its shoulders and back while its buttocks and legs are exposed. At the right side of the poster a soldier in green is grabbing the neck and hair of a naked bound prisoner and forcing him to lick the buttocks of the Statue of liberty figure. French-born illustrator Ungerer emigrated to the United States in 1956, where he lived in New York before moving to Canada in 1969 and then to Ireland in 1971. Many of his political posters were distributed through the Unicorn Press, a company he founded with his friend Richard Kosak. He is also known for his erotic and children's book art. [LMC]
