Upper left corner has "C-30542-15". Verso upper left has "''TYHFFSG''" above a small piece of paper affixed to the cardstock. "For Annual Art Competition" is printed at the top of the paper and information such as "Name: Spencer Thornton Banks" has been filled in in black ink. To the right is a black stamp reading "Elenora & Ellis Banks / Visual Art Culture Center / 4319 St. Louis, Ave. / St. Louis Mo 63115".





This horizontally-oriented poster consists of photocopied illustration filling a piece of paper affixed to the center of a piece of cardstock. There is a black ink outline on the cardstock _ an inch outside the illustration. The image includes a devil poised over a building with "Greed" and "Envy" coming out of his eyes in streams in the left half and an angel surrounded by phrases such as "Build With / Faith". The rest of the image is filled with text such as "''Truth Keeps H.G.B. Alive''" and "''It Is The Biggest Progress Blacks Ever / Made In St. Louis_Do Not Take It Away!''". A line of text in the bottom right corner reads "A Contribution from the Banks Visual Arts Center - 1978-79-80".
