Love Silva" handwritten in pencil at the bottom center of the poster.

Poster has black text, black and white images and a blue border printed on white paper. Frame surrouinding content is dotted, with illustrations of sea creatures and plants near the corners. Centered at the top in the frame is "in praise of whales" with "what am I that I should essay to hook the nose of this Leviathan! - Herman Melville" at the left and "but ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee. - The Book of Job" at the right. Below the title in the frame is an illustration of two whale bodies intertwined with "The Longest Journey" below. Centered on the poster is a circle with a map of the North American West Coast surrounded by different types of whales swimming in a circle around the graphic.
