Actually, America has become just about as heathen as Russian and maybe even moreso and more responsible because it has had so much light - of God's Word! The United States has been largely to blame for the world's wars for making them so prolonged, horrible and disastrous with her bombers, guns and all. So the U.S. is really next in line to be the battlefield of the world! It really deserves the judgment of God! He (God) can no longer wait to "destroy them which destroy the earth." (Jeremiah 12:17, 13:14, 14:11-15, 15:1) The Lord said, "Behold, I will turn back the weapons of war that are in your hands... and I myself will fight against you with an outstretched hand and with a strong harm, even in anger, and in fury, and in great wrath!" A nuclear exchange today could kill more Americans and Russians in days or even hours that WWII did in five years! The whole North American continent and at least part of the Eastern Hemisphere, Russia, etc., are going to be devastated - particularly Europe and the U.S. So if you want to survive in a livable atmosphere under livable conditions, you had better get out and get out quick of both the U.S. & Europe to South America or Southern Asia and the Southern Hemisphere somewhere. The meek shall inherit the earth (Matt. 5) and don't worry! Keep your eyes on Jesus! He's got the whole world in his hands!
