The man is smoking from a pipe held up by a hand with markings on the palm and fingers. The pipe leads to a glass jar with liquid and a fish in it. Another, metal, pipe emerges from the jar and ends with an ornate pot on the right side of the poster that is being lit by a match by a nude woman on a ladder.
