Bottom edge has "Photo: Yamahata Youke/ Hiroshima-Nagasaki Publishing Committee. published by Northwest Working Press, 1002 W. 2nd #4 Eugene Oregon 97405."

Poster has an orange and white background photograph of man holding a baby. Both are injured and bloody with wraps around their hands. The upper right corner has "Nuclear War is not just unwinnable, it's unthinkable!" The bottom reads, "This picture of a father and child was taken in Nagasaki, Japan, on August 10, 1945, one day after the atomic bomb attack.. In this city of 250,000 they were among the 75,000 injured. 65,000 others died. Currently the United States has at least 10,000 nuclear warheads, each more powerful than the one bomb that hit Nagasaki. The Soviet Union likewise has many thousands of such weapons. In a nuclear war as many as 160.000.000 people would be killed in this country alone. Millions of others would be horribly burned or poisoned by radioactive fallout. Much of the earth would be rendered a wasteland. Let's not be deluded. For most of us there would be no defense. The war would have no victor. The only possible victory for many of us lies in world-wide nuclear disarmament. It's time for people everywehere to demand Nuclear Disarmament Now!"
