Body of poster has a grid of 12 squares in blue and purple that illustrate the steps of folding a paper crane. On top of these to the right of the poster is an image of a completed paper crane. Along the side and top edges of the squares is the text: "Twelve year old Sadako Sasaki lay dying of cancer caused by the atomic blast at Hiroshima. Slowly, / painfully, she folded paper cranes in an effort to make her wish for peace come true. / She died as she finished her 964th crane. Friends folded rest and buried the 1000 cranes with her. The bottom of the poster has the text: "According to Japanese legend to fold 1000 paper cranes will bring peace and long life. / Peace was Sadako Sasaki's wish. This is SOPHE's wish.
