The top and bottom blue bars both read, "Not in Our Name." The bottom edge has "www.notinourname.net." The national sponsoring organization (2002-2008) was one of many opposed to the U.S. invasion of Iraq. "While others argued against the impending invasion of Iraq on grounds that it would surely result in American casualties, we used the symbol of the Earth, showing solidarity with the people of Iraq, Afghanistan, and the world."
