Poster has a green printed background with a red and black border all around. At the top is "Come Explore Our Forests." in black. At the center is an illustrated map of the state of Washington, indicating large cities, landmarks and hishways. Black boxes with white numbers are positioned all over the map, corresponding to a list of forest sites down the right side of the poster. Following each site name are directions to the location along with their significance. Down the left side are color illustrations - a crude map titled "Mountains To Sound Greenway" at the top, a tall tree and close up images of two distinct tree trunks meant to aid in determining the age of a tree without cutting it down at the center, and another crude map titled "Tale A Trip To Mr. St. Helens / And Visit A Forest Reborn" at the bottom. Across the bottom of the poster are computer simulated images of how forests may appear after harvesting. At the bottom right is a map legend.
