Verso has a black stamp in lower left. It reads, "Peace/ The phoenix, bird of sun fated to die by fire to arise renewed from its own ashes, sign of the sure rebirth that will follow all conflict and destruction, is here proposed as the symbol of peace. Hand silkscreened in a limited edition of 50 copies of which this is copy number 17. Designed and printed at Axial Press Hublersburg, Pennsylvania Childermas, 1967."





Poster has an image of a phoenix bird with its wings outstretched in the center. The bird is in blue with red accents. Below is "peace" in blue lettering. Poster has a mottled background of red and yellow.
