Along the right side are several blocks of colors with words: warrior, kill, murderers, legal, R.I.P. Above the solider is "Support Your Local" in black lettering. Verso is gold colored. The Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) is a college-based, officer commissioning program. Although it used to be compulsory for male students at many colleges and universities, during the Viet Nam War the program came under considerable criticism and was made voluntary or dropped from the curriculum altogether.
