Poster shows a gray colored airplane dropping a bomb from the sky. Printed above the airplane in large white font is "Lyndon Bird." This was one in a series of eleven posters produced by Group Commentary, "...an association of independent Fine Artists who share a deep anguish concerning the present state of American society." They issued a catalog and display ads in newspapers making these works available by mail order. Claudia Alta Taylor Johnson (commonly known as "Lady Bird Johnson) was First Lady of the United States from 1963 to 1969 during the presidency of her husband Lyndon B. Johnson. [LMC]
