Poster shows a male figure in the top center of the poster with his eyes closed and his arm and hair spread throughout the poster. The word "Today" is printed just below the proper left eye. To the top, right, and left of this male figure are photographic snapshots, drawings, and text. The photograph in the center next to the figures shoulder is a military helicopter. Below the helicopter is another photograph showing a group of African-Americans. A photograph on the left side of the poster shows an astronaut with the word "World" printed next to the photograph. Below in the bottom left corner is a photographic image of naval officers saluting. To the far right is a photographic image of two Marines with text below which says "Marine Helps Wounded Buddy in Vietnam." There is a photographic image of a gun that has shot out the words "Black & White." At the bottom center of the poster are photographic images of Lyndon B. Johnson, his wife, and two daughters. A nest has been drawn around the family and wings have been added to Mrs. Johnson. The poster is printed on pages 8 & 9 of the Berkeley Barb. On the back side of the poster are pages 7 & 10 of the Berkeley Barb, which is filled with articles and advertisements. Centerfold broadsides in underground newspapers were a common format that allowed many posters to reach a wide audience. [LMC]
