Poster has two black images and text overall. The drawings appear as scribbled lines. The top image depicts a large pilgrim head speaking to Native American man's head. In between them is 1620. On the left is a ship landing at a beach and soldiers herding people. The bottom image depicts a large Richard Nixon head looking at two male heads. In between the heads is 1970. Below them are dead bodies in piles and smoke. The bottom edge of the poster reads, "Thanksgiving- A Day of Peace and Celebration of Alliances." This poster was making the historical comparison between the savagery and deception surrounding the original Thanksgiving fest in the New World and the treaties of peace offered to Viet Nam. [LMC]
