The poster has a stylized drawing of a line, of women marchers or protestors holding signs, that snakes off into the distance. At the front of the line are figures contemporary to the time of the poster, as the line moves off into the distance the figures that populate it are from further and further back in history. Some of the signs being held at the front of the line read: "Equal / Rights / Not / Equal / Oppression" and "Children / Have A / Right / To / Child Care" . A large sign at a bend in the line at the upper right corner of the poster reads: "American Ladies Will / Not Be Slaves / Give Us Fair Compensation / Lady Shoemakers of Lynn. The upper left corner of the poster has the text: "We are Not / Satisfied". The Lower right corner of the poster has the text: "the agitation / will go on". The lower left corner of the poster has the text: "International Women's Day / March 8, 1976".
