Poster has a red and white border overall. Center of poster has a black circle, sprouting out of this circle are three human heads on one neck, one at left in profile that is mirrored at right and one in the center that is obscured by a large circular image or medallion that depicts the Buddha seated surrounded by designs that resemble fire and snakes. Portions of two hands can be seen at edge of the large circular medallion apparently holding it up. Where the three heads sprout from the central black circle their shared neck has a yellow and red Om symbol. Below central black circle are radiating concentric circles of blue that lighten in color the further they are from center. On these concentric circles in bubble letters is the text: "Global Awareness Of Being / The California / Institute Of Asian Studies / 3493 21st St. San Francisco - 648 1489". The CIAS was incorporated as a private, non-sectarian, non-profit graduate school in 1974 and became the California Institute of Integral Studies in 1980. [LMC]
