Poster is printed on tractor feed printer paper with green ink. Poster reads, "We gotta stop." The "o" in stop is a peace symbol. The implied message is that "We gotta stop... the war." Even by 1970 the correct form of the peace symbol was sometimes garbled - here it is missing the lower vertical line. The number 4973 was put on some posters because it was believed to be a sort of 'stamp of approval' number from the Berkeley Police Department. [LMC]
