Verso has small paper attached that reads, "Bob Bastian original (unsigned) Done during the Vietnam War. The flag was printed in The Examiner, and Bastian tore it out and sketched "Miss Liberty" during a slow moment at the Chronicle's news desk."
Poster is a newspaper page mounted on cardstock. The poster has a large United States flag overall with the blue and stars field in the upper right corner. Along the left is the Statue of Liberty sketched in pencil holding onto the red stripes as if they were jail cell bars.
