Poster originally folded in sixths and sent in the mail to advertise the San Francisco Landscape Garden Show. The poster has a reproduction of an artwork that shows a hillside landscape with a lake, large buildings, a tower, a Ferris wheel, and a hot air balloon in the sky. Text at top reads "San Francisco Landscape Garden Show" and continues below the landscape "Presents / 'A Fair to Remember'/ Celebrating the centennial of the great 1894 California midwinter International Fair. Come to marvel, learn, shop feast and enjoy." Date, location, and ticket information printed at lower right. A graphic of tall grasses appears at left next to small text that reads "Produced by Friends of Recreation and Parks with San Francisco Chronicle / Principal Sponsors * J.P. Morgan California * The Urban Farmer Store." The opposite side contains six sections of a brochure that gives more detailed information on the event.
