One poster with white and preen printing that has been hand painted on top of the printing. Originally the poster was printed green with a large white circle in the center and the words "Save Life" above the circle and "On Earth" below the circle in white. Each letter of the words was painted with a different color and design. Below the "Save," "Life" and above the "on" are three painted flowers each. In the center of the circle are stick figure people drawn in marker and each holding one painted flag (America, France, Germany, and Soviet Union). There is light blue paint spattered over the whole poster with a little light pink paint and red paint. Printed in white in the bottom right is "Artists for Survival, Boston area."Verso side has three areas printed with green ink. In the upper left area is "Artist, Address, Phone" each with a line next to it to write on. In the bottom left is "Help continue our work, Join artist for Survival, Moody Street, Waltham, MA." In the bottom right is "Prevent Nuclear Holocaust...Halt and Reverse the Arms Race - Support the Nuclear Weapons Freeze."Artists For Survival was an anti-nuclear group founded in 1982. [LMC]
