In small print along bottom left edge text reads: "art by Erik Reuland, PO Box 4425, Detroit, MI 48244; for more posters contact: [email protected]."

Poster printed in red and black ink on white paper with an overall black background. The top half of the page contains a reproduction of a stenciled artwork in a red square with a man's face wearing a hat and the text "VIVA Sandino!" Four white arrows pointing upward appear on either side of the image. A paragraph of small text by Sergio Ramirez appears below the image and begins "General Sandino's six year struggle in the Nicaraguan mountains leading a handful of campesinos and laborers, must be viewed as the result of centuries of foreign domination of the country and of the repeated surrender by the ruling groups to those same foreign powers." "Augusto Cesar Sandino 1895-1934" is printed below the paragraph by Ramirez. "Celebrate People's History" appears in a red band across the bottom of the page.

This was part of a large series produced by multiple artists. Although signed "Erik Reuland" on this poster the artist now goes by "Erik Ruin." [LMC]
