The postage stamp has a stylized drawing of a human figure, shown from the neck up a hand is also visible holding a rifle. The figure has long hair created by the black and red flag of the Sandinista National Liberation Front, the flag has the text: "FSLN. The lower right corner of the stamp has the symbol for Nicaraguan Cordobas and: ?0.50?.
