The poster has a a stylized line drawing overall, the drawing is shaded in some areas with hatching and cross-hatching in black, red, and blue. The top of the poster has the text: "La Resistencia / Vencera!" with the image of a mountain and a bird with a five pointed star on its back. The bottom of the poster has a wall with the text: "Chile '76 in one corner, at left a male figure appears to be shielding several others from a row of soldiers with guns at right , there are two additional figures lying on the ground with their hands on their heads in front of the soldiers. The bottom edge has a small logo that has elements of the Chilean flag and a rose, accompanied by the text: "Chile Democratico". The lower right corner has barbed wire and a red "R" inscribed in a red circle.
