Poster has a background photograph of a street with a line of people laying face down in it. On either side are soldiers hodling large guns. Poster has red text and reads, "A kinder gentler nation? Not a dime for El Salvador's death squad government."This poster skewers president George H.W. Bush who used the phrase "a kinder, and gentler nation" in his acceptance speech during the Republican nomination in 1988. Bush was trying to make his presidency appear different that that of Ronald Reagan and the Reagan administration. [LMC]
