The top of the poster has the text: "9th San Francisco International Lesbian and Gay Film Festival / Castro ans Roxie Theaters / June 21-30 1985" The bottom of the poster has a large drawing with a film real in black, purple, and red, there is a strip of film that starts at the left side of the film reel and bends around crossing the poster to the upper right corner. In the upper right corner there is a winged satyr with an hourglass on it's head that appears to be holding or carrying the strip of film.
