This was the first women's music festival in San Diego, held on private woman-owned land during a rainy Labor Day weekend. Feminist lawyer Mary Claire Forst was one of the organizers, and performers included Holly Near, Cris Williamson, Margie Adam, Bebe K'Roche, and Meg Christian. [LMC]
