Poster is printed overall with a reproduction of a painting that strongly resembles the painting by Eugene Delacroix titled "Liberty Leading The People". At right there is a female figure with short hair in a yellow dress, she is stepping up onto a small rock or outcropping holding a rifle in her right hand and raising an American flag over her head with her right. At the feet of the figure in the yellow dress is a figure in red and blue laying on the ground looking up admiringly at the figure in yellow. At left there is a male figure in a dark overcoat and top hat with a rifle, the rifle has a flag attached with the text: "ERA". A group of figure scan be seen in the background. The top of the image has the text: "Liberty". The bottom of the image has the text: "Mondale - Ferraro". The bottom edge of the poster has a small Reproduction of the painting "Liberty Leading the People" by Eugene Delacroix at left and text at right: "Liberty Leading The People - 1984 / This 'Liberty' reprint was inspired by the 1830 masterpiece by Delacroix 'Liberty Leading the People'.".
