Small print at bottom right details poster credits: The Nabisco Brands, Inc. Famous Black Americans poster series is designed and produce by B & C Associates, Inc. [?] B&C distributes the posters free of charge. Artist James Huff of Winston-Salem, N.C., was commissioned to create the mural from which the poster was reproduced. The original murals were donated to the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts./ Yale School of Drama Dean Lloyd Richards chaired the selection committee which considered nomination resulting from a poll of entertainers and entertainment critics. The committee made final selections for the poster. / ? 1986."

Black and white laminated poster has a double line border across the top of the page. "Famous Black American Entertainers-Part 2" is printed above a drawing of 57 men and women. The drawing bordered at right and left by vertical lines, and a list of all the people shown is printed in a numbered list at top right. A small recreation of the drawing's layout shows the outlines of the figures with a printed number that corresponds to the list above. The Nabisco Brands, Inc. logo is printed at bottom center.
