Top edge of poster has the text: "Barricade / July 12, Year of the Barricade Vol. 1 No. 2 !", below the text is a border consisting of a stylized drawing of a strand of barbed wire. The left side of the poster has a stylized drawing showing a small crowd of people in the foreground, looking and pointing towards a large figure at the top of the drawing. The figure at the top of the drawing is a police office, he is in uniform holding a nightstick, he casts a large imposing shadow down toward the figures in the foreground. Behind the officer, and slightly smaller there are a number of figures that appear to be hiding behind the large officer, one is wearing the black robes of a judge. The right side has text under the heading: "Free Huey / Demonstrations". Below this text is a photograph of the eyes of an African American man. The lower left corner has a body of text under the heading: "And in Richmond..." and the lower right corner has text under the heading: "What The / Hell's Been Done".
