At the bottom of the artwork reads, "eugene hawkins, legend #412." Bottom right of poster reads, "printed by vermont galloway/ westside press/ los angeles, california/ 1967." Verso bottom left has a handwritten note that reads, "Here ---, This is another --- poster along with The Rolling Stones and the Young Rascals. I will call you Later on the SE - Gene."

Background is white with black and red imagery and text. In the center is an collage of images in the shape of a heart. On each side of the artwork is a black panther, at the bottom is an image of Malcolm X, in the center is the word "freedom", throughout the collage are images of other African American faces. At the top of the heart, the poster reads, "Am i not a man and a brother?" Throughout the poster are images of cherubs with bows and arrows. Surrounding the main image are small paragraphs of text. One paragraph of text is printed in the middle of Malcolm X's forehead and starts with, "As long as the white man sent you to Korea, you bled. He sent you to Germany, you bled..."
