The top of the poster is printed with a color drawing of the signing of the Magna Carta. The drawing is an outdoor scene depicting two men standing at opposite sides of a table, the figure at right is wearing a read cloak and has both hands on the document that rests on the table, at center a man in green and purple with a golden crown is holding a stamp having just placed his seal on the document. There are other figures surrounding this table some in armor, some with shields, and long axes. In the Background there is a figure atop a horse, green fields, and in the distance a castle. Just below the bottom edge of the drawing is the text: "Amalgamated Meat Cutters And Butcher Workmen Of North America, A.F. Of L.". The lower left corner of the poster has the text: "1897 / 50 Golden Years". The bottom center of the poster has the text: "The Signing Of The Magna Carta" accompanied by two short columns of text describing the history of the Magna Carta. The lower right corner of the poster has the text: "1947 / 50 Golden Years".
