Poster has a black and white image of a street with a stock and soldiers burning papers. The men are in colonial clothing. Below the image reads, "Burning Zenger's Journal/ Freedom of the Press/ In 1735, a printer named John Peter Zenger won a great victory for freedom of the press in America. Zenger had printed articles critical of the Royal Govenor of New York. Zenger was arrested and his papers publicly burned. Zenger argued that the articles were true. The jury found Zenger innocent. From that day, truth is a defense against libel."
