"Poster produced and distributed by Noe Valley Community Store, 1599 Sanchez SF, CA. / (c) 1984 D. Minkler" printed at bottom center.

Multi-color poster printed on white paper. An image of a peach-colored and a brown colored hand, each holding long branches with green leaves and red colored berries, appears at center on a red and yellow background. Along the top left "Nicaragua" is printed in red lettering with a font that curves along the side of the image from center left to top center. Text below the image reads: "U.S. Government Doesn't Know Beans" and continues in smaller text "about getting along with our neighbor, Nicaragua. Terrorizing coffee workers and sabotaging storage facilities are a few tactics used by the US government to intimidate the Nicaraguan community and destroy its key export crop. In response, hundreds of U.S. citizens have volunteered to help with the coffee harvest. Support the growing community of North Americans who actively oppose U.S. intervention in Nicaragua. Contact the Nicaraguan Information Center at (415) 549-1387."
