Poster is printed on off-white colored paper with brown text and image. It has a drawing of a pelican in the center standing on a log. The poster reads, "A wonderful bird is the pelican;/ His mouth holds more than his bellican;/ He takes in his beak,/ Enough food for a week,/ But I'm damned if I see how the hellican./ The next pelican you see may be/ the last one you will ever see./ Join the fight to ban the DDT type/ pesticides which threaten extinction./ INFORM YOURSELF."
