The top of the poster has text in large scrawled letters that appear hand written: "Califas: / works on paper". The lower two thirds of the poster have a reproduction of a portion o f a page of a newspaper in the shape of the state of California. On either side of the newspaper image there are notations and drawings in a style similar to the text above.
