Poster printed with black, red, and brown ink on white paper. The top half of the page contains an image of Poncho Villa with text flanking his head in English and Spanish: "Better to die on your feet than to live on your knees / Vale mas morir de pie que vivir de rodillas." A wide red horizontal band with a narrow brown band at top and bottom divides the page. A logo for CCR (Committee on Chicano Rights) is visible at center between the numbers "19" and "80", and "Decade of the Chicano" is printed just below in smaller font. The bottom half of the page contains calendar dates by month for the year 1980 in brown squares divided by thin red lines.
