Multi-color poster printed on white paper contains a full page graphic of the American flag with a yellow and orange organic shape at center. A green image of a group of men playing guitars appears in the center of the shape and "Prairie Fire" is printed in green font diagonally on the page at upper left. Small diagonal text at bottom left reads, "Benefit for May Day / Sponsored by RCP and / United May Day Committee," and at right, "Friday May 4 9PM $4 / Temple Beautiful / 1839 Geary S.F." A piece of orange paper is attached to the poster's surface diagonally at lower right with black printed text, "LET IT BURN! / Prairie Fire in Concert May 4, 9pm / Rock 'N Revolt! / Temple Beautiful 1839 Geary S.F. $4." Jagged outlines in black marker surround the yellow and orange shape and the text "Prairie Fire" at upper left.
