The poster reads, "Science for the People/ Help Plan a Festival of Radical Action for the AAAS Meeting." Science for the People is a radical organization born of the antiwar movement 1969-1970. One venue for their actions critical of the science establishment was the annual American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) meeting. A similar organization using the same name was founded in 2002. [LMC]
