Poster has gray background overall. The top of the poster has a color photograph of a decorative textile. The textile has a blue border with white stars. The background of the textile is red with small gold stars at the corners. The center of the textile has a purple heart overlaid with stylized leaves and branches and the silhouette of a male figure in black; the figure has white hair tied with a purple ribbon. The bottom of the poster has text in black: " 'Both Officers and Men behaved with a degree / of Gallantry that did them the highest honor'. / August 7, 1782.
