1940s Sunbeam Mixmaster. Description: (a): wihite and black enameled metal hand mixer, 6.25"h x 9"d x 3"w with extention cord, 55"l x .25" in diameter. On the black handle are etched the company name and product, "Sunbeam Mismaster" and on the side of the hand held is a gold sticker with, "Sunbeam Automatic Mixmaster:9" in balck and red. The mixer has 10 speeds which are selected by turning black dial at the rear of hand held. Speeds are: 1- adding dry ingredients-folding, 2- washing potatoes, 3- mixing cookies and fruitcakes, 4- jucing citrus fruit, 5-whipping potatoes, 6- whipping cream, 7- beating uncooked icing and candy, 8- beating eggs-creaming butter and sugar, 9-beating cooked icings, etc., 10-most attachments chopping clicing, etc. Hand held attaches to a (b): black and white enameled metal stand, 11"d x 7.5"h. Etched into the under side of the base is the product information. Attaching to the handheld are 2 metal beaters that are ejected by twisting the handle.(c): Metal beater with plastic tip, 7.25"h x 1.75" in diameter, and (d): metal beater, 7.25"h x 1.75" in diameter. With the mixer came 2 bowls, an (e): opaque white glass mixing bowl with spout, 4.25" h x 6.5" in diameter. On the base are the words, "Glasbake Made for Sunbeam" and (f): opaque white glass mixing bowl with tabs, 4.5" h x 9.25" in diameter. This model , 7B, came out in April of 1941. Production stopped during WWII and started again in 1946,and ran until July of 1948. This model is the first with the beater ejector. The 7's had the largest production of all the Sunbeams, over 3,000,000.
