One side chair from a six-piece set of Van Keppel-Green patio furniture. Side chair has a steel frame with light grey cord wrapped around the frame. The cord serves as the seat and seat back. The chair has a sharp angle that seperates the seat from the seat back.

This set of furniture are iconic pieces of patio furniture from the mid-twentieth century. Van Keppel- Green furniture was frequently freatured in the Case Study Houses sponsored by Arts and Architecture magazine, as well as the California Design exhibitions. This patio furniture was used in the movie Giant, starring James Dean.
