Five (5) butterfly in a Riker Mount which is a thin, glass-topped, cotton-filled exhibition case.  Upper side is orange-brown with an orange bar at the leading edge of the forewing; hindwing with 3 or 4 blue submarginal spots. Underside with complex pattern; eyespots are obscured by other markings. These range from 1 1/4 x 1 1/8 to 1 3/8 x 2. The two butterflies in the middle are folded. Verso: A dark pink stamp that has a box with the following information inside: "Collection of Clay Ward Inglewood-California NAME [line] on DATE [line] LOCATION [line]" In black handwritten ink on the NAME line: "Vanessa Carye" In black handwritten ink on the DATE line: "June 21, 1934" In black handwritten ink on the LOCATION line:"Payson Canyon / Utah Co. Utah"  In handwritten black ink "West Coast Lady"
