Three (3) butterflies in a Riker Mount which is a thin, glass-topped, cotton-filled exhibition case. They are arranged in one row. The following is from top to bottom. The first butterfly is white with brown spots along edges and a slightly pink body. The second butterfly is yellow with brown spots along edges and slightly pink near body. The third butterfly is yellow fading to orange near body. It has brown spots along edges and is folded. They range in size 1 3/4 x 1 5/8 to 1 5/8 x 2 1/2. The two bottom ones are male and the top one is female. Verso from left to right and top to bottom: "Mylothr[obstruction]athim E. Transvaal [female symbol] same [male symbol] same [male symbol]"
