Four (4) butterflies in a Riker Mount which is a thin, glass-topped, cotton-filled exhibition case. Upper surface is dull green with dark border; pale hindwing cell spot. They range in size from 3/4 x 1 1/4 x 1 3/8. VERSO: A dark pink stamp that has a box with the following information inside: "Collection of Clay Ward (obstructed by a hook used to hang the mount) Inglewood-California NAME [line] on DATE [line] LOCATION [line]" In black handwritten ink on the NAME line: "Colias behrii" In black handwritten ink on the DATE line: "July 11, 1928" In black handwritten ink on the LOCATION line:"Berkley [sic] Calif." Below in handwritten black ink is: "Behr's Sulphur". Sold is written on cursive in black ink on the lower left corner.
