Three (3) butterflies in a Riker Mount which is a thin, glass-topped, cotton-filled exhibition case. These range in size from 2 3/8 x 2 5/8 to 3 x 4. The butterflies are yellow and black with shadows of dark stripes. Hindwing has many iridescent blue scales and an orange marginal spot. On the underside of forewing  the row of marginal spots has merged into a continuous band. They are all female. Verso: A dark pink stamp that has a box with the following information inside: "Collection of Clay Ward Inglewood-California NAME [line] on DATE [line] LOCATION [line]" In black handwritten ink on the NAME line: "P. turnus" In black handwritten ink on the DATE line: "June 17, 1930" In black handwritten ink on the LOCATION line:"Linden, Ala."  In handwritten black ink "Tiger Swallowtail". Female symbols are stamped below in pink that correspond to the butterflies on recto.
