Nine (9) butterflies in a Riker Mount which is a thin, glass-topped, cotton-filled exhibition case.  They are arranged in three columns. They range in size from 1 1/2 x 1 3/8 to 1 1/2 x 2.  Upper surface of male wings bright, clear yellow with solid black edging; lower side of forewing with some dark submarginal spots; hindwing with silver cell spot rimmed with orange-pink. Female is yellow form with uneven black edging enclosing yellow spots. The top five are all female.  The bottom four are all male.  Verso from top to bottom and left to right: "[female symbol] Colias [obsturction] lodice [female symbol] 7-15-35 Argonne, Wisconsin [female symbol] The Common Suplphur [female symbol] [female symbol] [male symbol][male symbol] [male symbol] [male symbol]"
