Six (6) butterflies in a Riker Mount which is a thin, glass-topped, cotton-filled exhibition case.  They range in size from 7/8 x 1 5/16 to 1 1/16 x 1 3/4.  The top two butterflies are brown and orange with stripes and spots. The rest of the butterflies are brown with yellow stripes and spots.  Verso: A dark pink stamp that has a box with the following information inside: "Collection of Clay Ward Inglewood-California NAME [line] on DATE [line] LOCATION [line]" In black handwritten ink on the NAME line: "Chloysne Crocale" In black handwritten ink on the DATE line: "April 1930" In black handwritten ink on the LOCATION line:"El Centro, Calif" Below in hand written black ink is "The Crocale Patchwing". Below this: "Variation of above Chloysne rufiscens same"
